My future husband rants about compliments

David Mitchell: 'You look nice today.' Such a simple pleasantry but I find it almost impossible. I mean, how personal. Look at the assumptions it makes, I have been scrutinizing your appearace. I think you look better now then you usually do. I consider myself a fit judge to make such a call.

David Mitchell: You must have jumped through a lot of hoops to achieve that given what you had to work with.

I found him via Noel Fielding on Big Fat Quiz of the Year. He is fucking hilarious! I want to tell someone they looked like they must have jumped through a lot of hoops to achieve their look.
