And this too but you may already know it: don't cut layers into your hair. It will end badly. Oh and John Frieda makes good unfrizzying creams. Just put a teeny bit in your hair so it won't be overly greasy.
Hmmm, here is a bad joke that I unfortunately had to LIVE through: Person: What does a Thanksgiving turkey eat? Me: I give up. What? Person: Nothing! Because it's already stuffed. HARHARHAR. Get it? Get it? Me: UH...moving on.
If I get anymore, don't worry, I shall be back. I mean, I gotta share the cheesy love.

Try this Herbal Essences shampoo: http://www.herbalessences.com/en-US/hair-products/frizzy-hair/smoothing-conditioner
Also if your hair is really pissing you off, invest in the Matrix line of products. http://www.matrix.com/products/ and this http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/hair-care/matrix-opti-smooth-chemical-hair-straightener/1229268/
I've been told that they're rather expensive but they work miracles. I know a couple people who have had it permanently straightened and enjoyed it and haven't really experienced any awful side effects.
