A-FUCKING-MEN. Everyone (people who watch the show, people who write the show, characters ON the show) continually attempt to shove down our throats how completely codependent the boys are on each other, but that's bullshit. Sam left. And stayed gone. Several times. The only one with dependency issues is Dean. Sam does just fine on his own.
