If Sam had said to him, 'I want you to poke yourself in the eye and ride a horse off a cliff' Dean would have done that? I honestly think the answer to that question would be yes because I think Dean will do WHATEVER Sam says, irregardless of consequence, without thinking of himself because to Dean, Sam is all that matters. Even dead.
