Well, if you didn't there was an article written about it here.

Maybe some of you have read it. Maybe you haven't. I have a few things to say about it because there's a couple things that annoy me and one thing that I can't properly express how much it pisses me off. It's like this blinding burning fury of rage.





We'll start with the things that annoy me. THAT. Right there.

"Starlet" Genevieve Cortese? Fuck no. "Actress" Genevieve Cortese. Yes. Now, I'm not suggesting that Genevieve shouldn't be promoted and publicized but unless I'm missing something she really isn't. Maybe they could've gone with "Hopes to be a Starlet...." Just. Ugh.

And also the "Perfect Winter Wedding" just sounds really condescending. I don't care for it.

All right then. Now the thing that fills me with great rage.

--The fan’s online comment said it all: “genevieve is a beautiful woman and Jared Padalecki is a god!!!” --

Now, I don't give a flying fuck if that's what the "fan's" typed but if you are a fucking professional and are writing for a magazine that I believe you can buy and if you can the person it's about is probably going to want a couple of copies then use your goddamn brain and fix those kinds of typos and capitalize a capital letter or two especially when it's someone's FUCKING NAME. HOMG.

I know there's a lot of bad shit going on in the world but if you can't capitalize a proper noun in an article then the terrorists and oil spill have won.

I just noticed that, man, lack of proper grammar makes me cringe. Sure, on the internet do whatever you like but in print, in a magazine or anywhere else published where a person should know better (at a professional magazine)? Then, yes, I second your blind fury of rage.

Yeah, I suppose and since they're clearly a shit editor well .. I was just going to say that I shouldn't judge them too harshly but then I was thinking, no. I should judge them more harshly. :)

Oh, so I think I figured it out and I hope this helps quell the rage. It looks like she was quoting ONE fan's actual reply. So that would make "fan's" right, because it's one person's comment. Also if it's a direct quote, that would explain the lack of capitalization, or more accurately, explain why they wouldn't mess with it, not that it would explain why the original poster didn't capitalize.

I find it funny that all the comments are flagged. LOL.

But if you want to stew in your rage (as I am sometimes known to do), then by all means completely disregard this. :)

Yeah, no. I get that she was quoting. I'm saying that she should have used her brain and fixed that fan's typo. If the fan in question hadn't capitalized Jared's name? I wouldn't like it but I'd be okay with the direct quote. However, since his name was capitalized and hers wasn't it almost seems insulting and since the article was mostly about Genevieve ... Yeah.
