I know that in the past Sam used to say things to Dean like, 'Hey, don't you ever want a family?' And Dean would snort and lie and say, 'No, Sammy. That ain't the life for me.' And after awhile, I think he began to believe that lie. This is how I saw it. I just don't get why he'd go out of his way to be all, 'Oh, Lisa. My Lisa. I wuv you and the kid.' when he believes that they're all going to die.
