It felt like neither character really evolved in the episode. Yes, Dean, your life is shit and you miss your mommy who never lived long enough for you to have bitchy teenager fights with, we get it. Yes, Sammy, you want to feel normal and like a person who can take care of themselves and not the kid that pouts in the corner while Daddy gets shitfaced. So, Dean, you need to really for reals understand that Sam needs more overt displays of affection & attempts at normalcy and to feel like his own person and not a helpless baby. And Sam, you need to just start regurgitating happy memories about Life with Dean-o so he feels wuvved. Can we move on?

I just enjoyed watching Samantha play evil. You could tell she was loving it.

Yeah, the necklace. I hope Sam picks it up and tucks it somewhere. Not just because of its meaning but also because, y'know, it's usually good to not throw away powerful talismans in hotel trashcans

If Sam does say, "Yes" and Dean's reaction is anything but 'Huh, I think this is my fault.' I'm going to stab him in the face. WORD.

a Supernatural/Littlest Hobo crossover would be epic and amazing. I approve. I want to know how old Sammy the runaway was. I hope he was younger than teenage and rockin' the lovable homeless scamp look.

Oh, and I did enjoy Dean's declaration at the beginning there that he knew he wouldn't stay dead and that he planned to come after Roy or whatever his name was. Hee hee.
