If Sam does say, "Yes" and Dean's reaction is anything but 'Huh, I think this is my fault.' I'm going to stab him in the face.
What's that whole 'self-fulfilling prophesy' thing all about? That's Dean. Sam still wants to fight and Dean's all "WTF-ever. I don't give a shit." If Sam gives up, well won't some of that be Dean's fault because he never listens to his brother?
Sam's so going to say YES, and Dean'll be Mr. Woobie 'it's-all-my-fault'. And I'll hold him down while you stab.
