There's six episodes left and I still don't understand the show. :/

Mark Pellegrino: I can't tell you but I know.

Personally, I've always thought of Jacob as the devil but since he said that I've been thinking that it'd be rather neat if Jacob were God and Mark was playing God and the devil (over on that other show) as very very very (imo) similar characters.

I came across this on ontd_lost earlier today and decided it pretty much fit my comprehension of Lost to a T:



There was a line in tonight's episode that was like "war has come to the island" and it made me giggle because well, the Man in Black WAS War, just on that other show.

The more I watch the more I think Lost is not meant to understand!

And I can't decide on the whole Jacob business. At least since ab aeterno he's been shown as good or at least as not ... devil-like - maybe he's more like Old-Testament God when God was all revengeful and liked to mess with people. But then ... Jacob doesn't seem that revengeful. At least he's not sending anybody over to kill Nemesis. ahahahklajsdf MY BRAIN

That would be awesome if Jacob was God. He does seem very similar to Lucifer so it'd be interesting definitely

IDK what the story will say, but I think he at least represents God, especially in terms of Ben's frustration with his absence being a kind of loss of religious faith.
