Hmm for small portable internet I greatly prefer the ipod touch. I think it has a better range. I love my DS Lite and my ipod touch but when it came down to choosing which to replace (first broke after 4 years of hard use, latter got stolen) I ultimately went with the ipod touch rather than getting a DSi. The camera on it isn't great, I'd have to get a new emulator for games, and like I said the internet isn't as stable.
