Yeah, I thought the Smoke Monster was just a defense of the island, compeltely unrelated to Jacob or other dude. But I think now that Jacob and Smokey!Locke!Dude are like enemies or something. But yeah, I try not to think too much about it and just oooh and ahhh at other peoples' opinions.
