I think you and me were having the same discussion with our TVs last night esp. in that beginning scene.

I totally agree with fromyourashes with Dean being the golden boy while Sam gets all the blame. I was so annoyed that DEAN ended up saving Sam at the end and came out the hero. If the show wants to "redeem" Sam, how about having him come off as a hero again to the viewers and have him kill the wraith instead of almost killing the doc? Although I totally wanted him to break free from the bed by using his powers. Hey, Kripke! Remember that? Sam's powers? Blah.
