You know how pissed off I was at Dean and the writers at the end of the premiere, so yeah. Dean knows and remembers that he broke the first seal and he needs to tell Sam, but this is SPN, so that means the writers need the aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangst to last a couple of eps.

Out of all of the meta that I read, I liked musesfool's the best. Yes, Sam should be abjectly apologizing to everyone he meets for a while [because he started the apocalypse], and yes, Dean should be resentful and hurt and be allowed to express that, and Sam is going to have to deal with that for a while, but it's not just Sam's fault, and I hope the writers allow Dean to bear some responsibility for it, instead of taking the all-too-familiar fannish tack of heaping all the blame on one character and sanctifying the other.

As I said to her in the comments: I just want them both to realize that they were being set up for this from the very beginning and they were both wrong. They just need to get that through their freaking thick heads.
