And he was all "I'd been out here for 2 hours and screamed so I have a sore voice" further more, if he's not allowed to tell Dean things anymore then why did he even bother in the first place why is he just giving Dean advice and manipulating him to fit what he wants? Also, I'm more infuriated that he blindly trusts Castiel when he used to trust Sam the same way, and you're right why can't he just go into his head? That's another manipulation thing right there.
