I occasionally wear a necklace, but the one thing I never take off is one of the rings I got from Granny for getting out of middle school. It occasionally falls off, and I have bouts of panic trying to look for it, but that's rare (it did fall off in Friday the 13th recently but that's because I was hiding and moved my had and it went 'plop' right below my feet and I couldn't get it back till movie was over).
