So far all the bodies have been possessed against their will/ without them knowing about it. This is what we've seen. A while back I read that Ruby's body was in a coma. And I couldn't understand how people could be Okay and Fine and Happily Shipping Sam sleeping with some girl who was in a coma. I just ... I couldn't understand it and I couldn't get behind it. Which bothered me a lot because I WANTED to ship Sam and Ruby together. I think they'd make a fantastic looking couple but I couldn't. Because. Ew.

However, if Ruby is the only one in there ... I can be okay with that. I can ship it and not feel all 31 flavours of guilty. Part of me still thinks that it's a little bit icky but not chock-full of rapey ickyness.

I'm kind of hoping that Castiel pretends to have a really bad fake German or Russian accent and says, "Just kidding. I make joke." at the beginning of the next episode.

I liked that Sam talked to Dean and told him things. I LOVED that when we saw flashback!Sam he was wearing the Hoodie of Emo. And I liked this drunk!Sam a lot more than the one in Playthings.

Next week Dean should talk to Sam. Maybe they could both be on Dr. Phil. I bet he'd be able to straighten their asses out.

Angel Hearing Girl's eyes were really really shiny.

[next week] I don't want to see Dean having sex. I don't. If we didn't get to see a fully shirtless Sam in THIS ep, I don't think it's fair that we get to see (might get to see?) a fully shirtless Dean in the next one. Dammit.[/next week]

Part of me likes Ruby a lot more now. Other part of me still dislikes the new actress greatly and therefore cannot quite stand her. But homg, that was a hot scene, with her and Sam *fans self* Even though I would have preferred not to see her.

Jared did an excellent job with drunk!Sam this time. He is just blowing my mind this season :) I also really hope Dean opens up to Sam. He will hopefully explain who Alistair is.

Haha, they were! Her hair colour mesmerized me a bit too. I liked it but it also looked really fake. *shrugs*

re-next week: Is he supposed be shown having sex? With who? xD I don't really want to see that either. Didn't really want to see Sam having sex, would have much preferred seeing him just standing in a towel, lol. It was so hot, yet so wrong. /re

Literally on top of Sam and Sam a)doesn't want to be there and/or b) is not allowed to participate.

I'm thinking it's the Impala and that thing is probably just gross with jizz from John, Dean and Sam. So I'm not sure why now would bother people.

Drunk!Sam in 'Playthings' was really over-the-top compared to the Sam of tonight. It's amazing how well Jared handled this ... I just keep thinking back to how many people lauded Jensen's performance in AHBL2 in season 2. While that was an amazing job, I still can't get over how well Jared did that same sort of brokenness tonight. It was just ... you could both see and *feel* how Sam was feeling, how messed up he was inside, and how much he didn't want to keep on going. It was just ... it's almost too horrible for words.

This episode was made of win. The writers are balsy as fuck for going with the Sam/Ruby storyline, and what's amazing is that they managed to pull it off without making it awkward or completely horrid. It was just the right amount angsty and SO MUCH HOT that ... damn. This was probably the best episode all season, in my opinion.

But damn, the angels need to stop being so damn anti-good at this point. Seriously, guys, stop threatening to destroy entire towns and kill innocent girls. That's the kinda shit that's going to make Sam turn evil make you look bad in the eyes of the Wincesters.
