Do you know what your name would have been had you been born the opposite sex? Mine was going to be Christopher Michael.

What about what you were almost named? I was almost Crystal. I'm really glad my mom changed her mind on that one. And then at one point she was going to name me Jericho (as a girl) ... at least I'm fairly sure it was that name. That might've been kinda cool.

Oh yeah, and. I was almost Dallas, if my mom woulda gotten her way, b/c my grandpa's middle name is Dallas. Which I used to think would have been cool, but now sounds like a stripper name, plus doesn't match with any last names. *sigh*

Dallas + Jericho = BFF.

Ah I like these sorta questions LOL.

I think I was gonna be Jake or Jack and my mother nearly called me Sasha but she didn't want me to have a middle name because she hated hers so I would've ended up as Sasha Smith! Two Ss, not good. So my sis is named after the actress Natalie Wood and I'm (thanks to my sis) named after the author Danielle Steel. Apparently lol.

Random sidenote, I nearly had an uncle named Denver. And that was in the 50s! My gran was forward thinking ;) Up yours, Hollywood mums!

My was going to be Christopher Lloyd if I was a boy.
My mom wanted to name be Bronwyn but my grandma talked her out of it. There were a few other names, but I don't remember. I wish it had been something more creative than Brittanie, but she swears she didn't know any Brittanies when I was born. 1985 is apparently the year of the Brittanie/Britney/Brittany etc. though. There was even a girl with my exact name in 6th grade, just spelt differently.

I would have been William Manuel if I was a boy. I was almost Victoria because Mom loves the name Vicki. -- It's my middle name and Kathleen Victoria sounds better than Victoria Kathleen.

I would have been GEORGE. I was supposed to be, anyway, since my parents were told I was a boy. My dad claims I was going to be named Anton, but my mother denies all knowledge and she would have had the final decision.

Right. Both my brother and I have names that has an equivalent in the opposite sex but my parents claim they wouldn't have gone with those. Otherwise, I'd be called Peter now.

I would've been Grant Robert as a dude, or almost Olivia as a girl. And I used to think Olivia would've been awesome, but eff that. I like my name waaaay better.

I would have been Wilbur. It's my grandpa and father's first name. My name turned out being Victoria Faye [-insert last name here-] and I'm fine with it, and while I don't care for my middle name, I love my last name.

My middle name was [when they found out] I was intended to have been Victoria Jane, but my dad hated that and changed it while my mom was still strung out on painkillers.

If I was a boy, my parents were going to name me Colin Patrick.

When I was born, my mom fought my dad tooth and nail to name me Kari Elizabeth.
She lost.

If I was a boy, I was going to be Daniel Richard.

And my mom really wanted to name me Molly, but my dad refused. D:

Jericho is an interesting name

It's in the Bible. Some chap wanted to take on the city of Jericho because there were sinners or some-such and God gave him the mighty POWERRZ and he blew a trumpet and the walls fell down! And all the sinners were CRUSHED because you know, they LIVED in the walls of cities back then. :(( Poor little sinners!

And I have enough fuddy-duddy tendencies without any help from being called Meredith. :D

Jericho would have been a badass name!

If I had been a boy, my parents were thinking about Carl. I would have felt sorry for myself my whole life. Another name they were thinking about for me was Rachel, and Colleen instead of Ann for my middle name.

I believe I was always going to be Melanie Rose if I was girl (which I am, lol) - Melanie supposedly after my Dad's fave pop singer (I was born into this fandom business! lol) and Rose after my gran. If I'd been a boy, I coulda been called Benjiman, or Levi ... Ben's ok, but Levi makes me giggle uncontrollably.

I like the name Dallas. And yeah, if we'd been Dallas and Jericho we would've had to have been friends or at the very least gone on the road together for some reason. I'll go with a singing act, even though I can't sing at all.

*nods* Yes, Kathleen Victoria does sound much nicer.
