I was traumatized because I once read fics where men were "womanized" while pregnant. It was completely ridiculous. The pregnant man was crying over every little thing and was weakened and submissive.
Something so female just shouldn't be applied to a man. Plus, I know that not all women become weak and submissive when pregnant. In fact, I have never heard of that phenomenon at all.
And I know that the author (a particularly bad one) used mpreg to emphasize the dom/sub part of the relationship. She probably enjoys and fantasizes about it a lot. But it's just not the way it should be.
I'm sure that there are a lot of writers out there who got mpreg right but I'm just scarred from the whole thing. Now, it doesn't matter if the author is someone I know is good. I won't read the mpreg, assbaby or no.
