the store and a couple of movies

Yesterday at the store.

When I got to the check out the guy in front of me was already in the process of paying for his things so I'm not sure how it all started but damn was it amusing. These are sentences he said.

Oh, thank God, it went through. (it = credit card, I believe)
The phone didn't ring. (as in shocked that the cops were alerted right away or something like that)
The guy must be in a coma, I hit him pretty hard.
*turns to me and covers part of his face.* You didn't see my face.

I watched Planet Terror and Death Proof last night.

Planet Terror was okay. Yay for mini Lost reunion.

But Death Proof? I think I might be in love.

If he'd been more serious sounding, I think I would've been a bit nervous, but he and the cashier girl and the bag boy were all smiling and yeah. Plus, I think the guy who was saying all that was a bit drunk.

Yeah, they were both apart of a Grindhouse special feature thing. But except for a couple of actors, they didn't have anything in common. *nods*

That is one of single most bizarre things I have ever read I cannot imagine how your face looked in the store.

Death Proof is major love it is my favorite hands down. I wanted to buy another ticket for the movie when I went to see it and just sneak back in when it was Death Proofs turn I'm serious.

I'm in the vast majority, but Planet Terror >>> Death Proof for me. Death Proof to me was like this: 45 minutes of unattractive women sitting around and swearing a lot, a really effing cool car crash slash death scene, another 45 minutes of unattractive women chasing an unattractive guy around in a car. Just...didn't do anything for me. I love PT for all it's horrific badness. And gore. Gotta love the gore.

I've not actually watched either movie yet but people always say the same thing. And OMG, we watched Dead and Breakfast last night... holy shit that was AWESOME! We especially liked when JDM said "Giddy-up" when he found the chainsaw and the guitar dude's little line about the Sheriff's beard. lol
Dog Soldiers, on the other hand, was complete SHIT. Seriously. It sucked so bad...we almost had to watch D&B again afterwards just to clean our brains of that crap :p
