I thought they made a huge mistake in killing YED so soon, but it seemed that in the beginning of this season that they were trying to redeem themselves by continuing the mytharc. I just think every episode since the strike has undone the quality of season 3's arc (that was shakey to begin with).
What pisses me off to my core is that Kripke & Co will stuck with a character and/or story that fans are irate over, claiming that it'll grow on us, only to realize later--after time, effort and maybe even interest has been established--to "undo" a character or story that "didn't go as [they] hoped." Bela's story could have been a compelling one--so why did this episode feel lame and rushed? Why was her backstory revealed in two brief flashbacks, when we had at least three full episodes of pointless boys-versus-Bela bickering? The only write-off they got right was Jo's, and frankly I'm surprised by that. And what the fuck is up with no Ellen mention? ANGRY.
It's always a bad sign when spoilers start looking like answers and less like threats.
