Oh! Bunnicula FTW! That book is the reason I still say cat soup instead of catsup.

I'm not sure which book of the series it was from but there's a moment where the puppy (forgot his name) tells Chester (the cat) to be careful or something like that because he sees a bottle of red and reads it as 'cat soup' instead of 'catsup'.

OMG. I love the fucking book Michelle. Did you read the sequel Howliday Inn too? I like that one also, but it's not as awesome as Bunnicula because Bunnicula is only in it for like 2 seconds at the beginning.

*shuts up now*

That name rings a very small bell, I think - or maybe I'm just thinking it does because I've read it in other comments so uh, what I'm saying is, I'm not sure if I read it.

The family goes on vacation and the dog and the cat have to go stay at a kennel for a week and there are crazy happenings of the supernatural kind going on. Mysteries are revealed and solved and they all live happily ever after.

Eeee, Bunnicula! I can actually picture a slightly older Dean stealing Sammy's copy.

From: [identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com
Or! Dean would get a copy from the the library and just leave it laying around and sometimes when he'd have a girl over she'd see the book and raise an eyebrow and Dean'd be all, 'Uh, yeah. It's my kid brother's.' But one time Sam was around when Dean said that and snarked back, 'The hell? I've never read that book in my life.' and uhm, yeah.

Hey, I read my first copy of Bunnicula at 22. There's no shame in it, Dean! (granted, I grew up in another country, but, you know, technicalities, technicalities...)
