Switched at Birth || Leverage || Tags are hard

Switched At Birth:

I love everything about this show. The characters, their relationships, etc. etc.
Sure, Bay and Toby's mom annoys me quite a bit but it's done in a way that's realistic and not over exaggerated.
I'm pretty sure I want Emmett and Bay together.
Does anyone know if they are accurate with the Sign-Language?

Leverage:

Like Psych I need this show in my life forever and always.
I also love everything about this show. Well, just about everything.
I want them to either make Nate just randomly stop being an alcoholic or I want for them to take it more seriously.
One of the small things I like is that Christian Kane doesn't look ridiculous when he's doing fight/action scenes. (In my opinion, of course)

I'm very slowly going through tags and re-tagging things. It's so hard. Luckily, paid accounts can have 4000 tags. I doubt I'll need that many but it's nice that that option is there.

And there are some tags where I think, 'Oh, I should watch that show or post pictures of that actor' so that I can use the tag more often just so it's not a complete waste of a tag.

Do you have a system for tagging your entries?

I don't see it that way, perhaps because I'm not Puerto Rican or ethnic in any sort of way, but I just see it as they needed someone who would match Bay's colouring and came from a different background/class.

Would you feel differently if the families were reversed?

There are so many little things, like Bay's behavior in the pilot, after finding out she's Hispanic, she acts out and says something along the lines of how that's the way she would have acted if she was raised by her real mother. Because she's lower class, Puerto Rican.

Yes, I would. I feel like the show is a cliche of all things. Every character, aside from the pretty redhead actress - god, I wish I could remember her name! - are so exaggerated. Like, I'm the single Puerto Rican mom from the "bad" side of town, so I Act Like This. We are the white, well off, suburban family, so we Act Like This. That being said, the families are not reversed and it's a pretty offensive portrayal, to me.
