I liked this ep. Mostly. I don't, I can't and I will not accept that Sam and Ruby are sleeping together. I just ... I don't get how that's a thing.

I would've liked for Sam to hit Dean back but I guess we can't always get what we want. However it was nice that things are now known.

When the guy (now known as Jack) was sitting on the bus stop bench, I said that it was because he was waiting for the bus and that he really wanted to go to Dairy Queen and the bus was late and so he was phoning Sam and Dean to ask for a lift.

They spent a good fucking long time getting the scene set up and then shooting the scene of Jack climbing the fire escape to look look in the girl's window.

There was a stunt double who was all harnessed up and had a helmet on, he was hoisted onto a garbage bin and then from there he sorta jumped up to the fire escape and yeah.

For the show I thought they would've photoshopped out the garbage bin ... though I guess you couldn't really see it and I thought they would've showed more uh, stunt action. There was a crane that they had to rent and I know that Russ was kind of irrated about the whole thing because of the cost and I'm sure others were too and for just that to be shown? Bah. I mean, obviously I know that they can't show 'Hey, look we got this guy harnessed and here's the crane that's going to lift him up.' But there could've been something.

I know that they don't film things in sequence but I don't get why they don't or couldn't film Sam and Dean getting out of the car and then running to the girl's apartment together. Jared and Jensen were standing in the street before they started running. The video clip I uploaded of them standing around, that's where they were before they ran. Maybe they were back a couple of feet but that's only a maybe.

When Sam and Dean were running to the apartment I turned to

culturegeek76 and jokingly said, 'Wow, that was really good, I actually believed that they were running.' But on the show? Yeah, not so much. I mean I get and saw that they were but seeing it in person? It WAS actually more believable. For serious.

That's the apartment building and the under appreciated garbage bin. Jared was sitting by the doors of the aparment building talking and/or texting on his cell when he tried to stand up three times before someone helped him up.

It took the girl screaming about 4 or 5 takes (she screamed when Sam and Dean weren't around) and each time it was horrible. I was told that they were going to dub over it and make it better. I'm glad they did.

I wish the show would just tell us if Sam and Ruby slept together, but I guess there would be no suspense. But still! Enough with the implications every week!

Thanks for the inside info. esp with all the equipment and stuff. That entire scene lasted like 30 seconds and they brought in a crane, stunt double, and all that fancy stuff. That's show business, I guess.

It seems to fit with things, a little here and maybe possibly in the future.

I sincerely hope it's Kripke fucking with us, because gross. SHE'S NOT EVEN A GOOD ACTOR. I'd at least TRY TO SEE ICKY, POINTLESS, POSSESSED GIRL IN THUR, FUCKING HER EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN'T TRUST HER, WTFNESS OF THIS PAIRING if she'd at LEAST be a damn good actress. But she's pointless, that plot line is pointless, and it needs to go away and if they are screwing, fuck Kripke for thinking that this was a good idea at all. I'm so annoyed with that shit that even one of the boys screwing Bela would have been better!

I just don't want it because I cannot see Sam a)raping someone and/or b) screwing a dead girl

You know, the mere implication that they are, which the show is going to great lengths to put out there (her bra in his room, that demon suggesting it in this one), made me throw up my hands and very nearly give up on Sam as a character completely. He is hanging on by the SKIN OF HIS TEETH in my book. I mean, when Dean punched the shit out of him, I was CHEERING. Like, knock some sense into him! (The second punch had me laughing with glee. And THAT'S for being a WHORE.)

The thing is, I used to LOVE Sam. LOVE LOVE LOVE. WAY more than Dean. Because I like the GOOD GUYS. But this entire arc with Dean getting back and, as your quote hints at, Sam doesn't really care? ugh. Careful careful careful, Supernatural. If they make him too much of a shithead, there's no coming back from THAT either.

so far, i'm really down with this season of SPN. it's, on the whole, making me happy.

but i am sick to death of the ARE THEY!?/AREN'T THEY?! deal with Sam and Ruby. all the little implications that it's more than the honing Sam's psychic powers are wearing really thin. and it's only been 4 episodes. :|

When the demon said "sluttin' around", I didn't get that feeling that it was being used as a euphemism for sleeping together. I've always heard that phrase used in reference to (two or more) people who go out, get really drunk and try to sleep with strangers, but not with each other, slutting around town.

I think Kripke's heavy handing the innuendo to screw with us and because he knows we're all going to freak. And if we're freaking about this, we aren't going to see what's coming. Though if Sam really is, then I guess that could be perversely seen as Sam taking his first bite of longpig, cuz as we are all saying, Sammy would never do that but if he did, then he's a goner for sure.

How was Jared sitting that he needed help getting up? lol.

Mostly this ep left me feeling sad.

Uhm, he was sitting ... I can't actually remember. I think, maybe like one would sit on stairs but he wasn't on the stairs just on something else. I'm not sure what exactly 'cos I couldn't see it.

I thought that maybe there was a bit of hinkiness going on between Sam and Ruby, but yeah, not so much anymore. She looked scared of him ...

I thought Sam was gunna punch Dean as well. I was expecting a giant all out brotherbrawl. I guess that maybe Sam thought that he deserved it or that maybe he knew that Dean just had to get it out of his system or something.
