I LOVE THAT BOOK!

Sorry for the outburst, childhood memories are powerful things.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
It was pretty awesome.

[identity profile] hellokimberly.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
The Celery Stalks at Midnight is my favorite out of the series. XD

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I only remember the one book - I'm not sure if I knew about the others.

[identity profile] gwendolynmstacy.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
i put yes, but did you know that i still own that little 30 min movie on it? it was a cartoon!

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think I knew that. It's possible I'm a little bit envious.

[identity profile] fromyourashes.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG I WAS UNAWARE!!!!!! *covets*

[identity profile] uglyduckling-me.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
of course he did! and I believe he had a flashback when he saw that rabbit near the beginning of the ep last week
(and apparently that's what you were going for with the poll...yes, I am as dumb as I sound sometimes)
'course, I also thought of Fatal Attraction in regards to the rabbit...

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I usually think Fatal Attraction when it comes to rabbits/bunnies but for some reason Bunnicula popped into my head and yeah.

[identity profile] thursdaywench.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
i've actually never read it, but yeah. Dean totally did. but never watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail. cause then he would know that bunniese are vicious killers.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh.

[identity profile] fromyourashes.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I put in NO - but then I remembered that he LOVES BUNNIES, and now I'm sad that I'd temporarily forgotten.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it explains his love for bunnies (he felt sorry for them) and his apparent lack of love for fruits and vegetables - the juice sucked out of them making them all pale white freaked him the fuck out.
ext_16765: (Jensen's dorky :: Dean is too!)

[identity profile] arabella-hope.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I only said no because of his age - I don't think it coincides, but. He WOULD have, had he read. Maybe Sam had it and he snuck a peek as a teen or something.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
He totally did that

[identity profile] mooyoo.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahhh! Bunnicula!!! I loved those books when I was a kid. And yes, he totally did and loved them even though he thought they were totally innacurate, and he read them to Sam to scare him when Sam was really little.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I like!

[identity profile] apey1013.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I ADORE THAT BOOK. OF COURSE HE READ IT.

I even went as Bunnicula for Halloween one year. XD

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
You win

[identity profile] cityphonelines.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! Bunnicula FTW! That book is the reason I still say cat soup instead of catsup.

[identity profile] earthquakedream.livejournal.com 2008-02-06 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
omg VAMPIRE BUNNIES FTW!! \O/

I know I read all the books in the series. Hah.

OMG. I love the fucking book Michelle. Did you read the sequel Howliday Inn too? I like that one also, but it's not as awesome as Bunnicula because Bunnicula is only in it for like 2 seconds at the beginning.

*shuts up now*

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-07 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
That name rings a very small bell, I think - or maybe I'm just thinking it does because I've read it in other comments so uh, what I'm saying is, I'm not sure if I read it.

[identity profile] tastylilgifty.livejournal.com 2008-02-07 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
And so began my lifelong love affair/unhealthy obsession.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-07 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
for juiceless fruits and vegetables?
pie_andcoffee: (dean glee!)

[personal profile] pie_andcoffee 2008-02-07 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
he totally read it. in fact, it was sam's favorite bedtime story. TRUFAX.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-07 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Probably was.

Eeee, Bunnicula! I can actually picture a slightly older Dean stealing Sammy's copy.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-07 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
Or! Dean would get a copy from the the library and just leave it laying around and sometimes when he'd have a girl over she'd see the book and raise an eyebrow and Dean'd be all, 'Uh, yeah. It's my kid brother's.' But one time Sam was around when Dean said that and snarked back, 'The hell? I've never read that book in my life.' and uhm, yeah.

OMG Bunnicula. I haven't read that story in YEARS.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-02-08 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
They don't write stories like they used to, eh?
