Cop Rock!

"I can't believe we got cancelled."
"Yeah, and I only got to sing one song."
"Two."
"Excuse me?"
"Two. You got, 'How To Love A Woman"... and Carl's dream-sequence where they hang me in my underwear."

All these years later, I STILL remember that bizarre piece of dialogue. \o/

Did you ever watch the show?

That dialogue was in the last episode. The show got preemptorily cancelled mid-season (back when that didn't happen all the time!), and so the writers just bailed out on any semblance of continuing the story arc and went straight for the crack \o/

It was the police chief (Ronnie Cox) and his next-in-command talking, and it made the viewer immediately think, "Wait-- when was the dream-sequence part? I want to see that now!"

I think I saw a bit of an episode or that's all I remember it's possible I saw the whole thing but can only remember about two seconds.
