I did. It was creepy to watch but very cool.
I'm pretty sure Kripke talked about this episode in an interview.

Am gonna watch Dexter now and then Buffy again.

I think it was Kripke but I'm not 100% sure. And no, it wasn't anything bad, I believe he was saying somehow about how good the episode was and how scary it would be to wake up in a mental institution and no one believed who you were and told you that you were crazy. I don't remember it all that clearly but I've been 'waiting' for the episode since I started watching Buffy.
