Just as a warning, I might have jumped the gun but I hope not.

Right then. Joel's book got a green light (or whatever the expression is) to be made into a movie, so he had to go out to LA for a month. There was humourous bits about Joel and Zoe trying to see each other during the month. But alas, there were delays and such and it didn't work out so well. Zoe was all mopey and Brick basically told her to go to LA to surprise Joel. When she got there, she learned that the movie would be filmed in England, and that Joel would need to go there for six months, or something close to that.

Then I sort of missed a bit (read: not paying attention)

But the show ended with Zoe being all sad in her bed at home, and then Lavon and pretty much the entire community coming over to visit her, making sure that she was okay and bringing baked goods and such. They asked if she'd be okay and she looked around and said, 'I will be, with all of you here.' (words like that)

The "But" (from below above) is basically, "but I'm glad Joel's gone."

I don't know is the thing, like if they agreed to break up or if they're just on a break. Either way, he's gone and she's upset.

They went on a break, which I think means seeing other people, hence she's so sad. But YES, bring back Zoe and Wade!!!! Cousin Vivian needs to go.
