hello wall.

it's pretty damn pointless most of the time, isn't it?

how do you interact with people online? I mean. how do you get people to engage in conversation with you?

also, while taking a tumblr break. I'm still looking at it from time to time. casually and slowly unfollowing.

if I unfollow you and you don't like it. well, it's probably an accident. just let me know.

I've gotten really bad at keeping up conversations online. Partly, that's my fault. I'm not super focused on one pairing in one fandom and interacting with a smallish set of fans. I'm not in the middle of anything anymore.

Partly, I think the way we interact has changed. I'm not interested in the capslock flails or codewords that a normal person outside of fandom wouldn't have a chance of understanding. I feel like the old guy who refuses to keep up with the youngsters. : )

Maybe not with capslock or codewords but I want to flail with people. Sometimes I have feels and I want to share and yet. Nope.

It's just not as much fun flailing by yourself.

It's not as fun to squee by yourself. I've been so behind on all the cool stuff the last couple of years while I tried to sort out my life. I'm very sad I was late to the Capt America/Avengers party. I have definitely noticed that it gets harder to interact the older I get because I have to go to a real job and keep up an actual house instead of just my dorm or room.
