Well, isn't that just fantastic.

Spoilers for season eight. And these spoilers are just based on bits and pieces I've read and/or skimmed on tumblr. I have not read or seen anything myself. So, I don't know how accurate they are.

Castiel is going to get more screen time and Sam and Dean are going to be split up?

Oh, yay! That's so brilliant. Because I really really love the Dean and Castiel show.

Like a lot of people I started watching Supernatural because I heard it was about these two brothers who fight monsters.

But then when they brought in Castiel and he became Dean's bestest buddy EVER, I was like. 'Oh, man. This is the show they should have started with.'

Because fuck Sam, right?


And yes, I do plan on watching the show. I plan on seeing it through to the very very end. And I might not like a lot of it, but I will always like some of it.

There was a time when I would have said, "I don't care what they do with the show, I will see this through until the very end," but today made me realize that, no, sadly those times are long over. I'm not sure I will watch S8 at all. It all depends on what happens in the finale tomorrow, really.

I get that. I'm 99% sure that I will see it through to the end even if it ends up killing me. But I have stopped watching other shows even though I had no issues with them at all. So. I dunno.

I just. I just really enjoy looking at Sam.

Yeah...this is why I quit partway thru this season. Fuck it, I'm over having my hopes crushed every stupid week. And I'm over the misogyny, too.

Like I said, I'll watch the season premiere. If I can't stand it, I'm done. I've just wasted too much of my energy on this stupid show. I still haven't watched last Friday's ep, and I kinda dread having to sit through it. If that ain't a clue I should stop, I dunno what is.

Part of me thinks the only way they can create tension any more is by splitting them up. I mean, anyone who is killed can come back, if something evil (or even good) is threatening to "possess" someone, the powers that be will make them whole again even if they kill themselves or get killed, people exist as ghosts, anyone can kill anything at this point. We've learned to not mourn anyone we love because they'll come back. All the main ingredients that made the show tense/good have been totally butchered, imo.

That being said, BOOOOOOOOO. hahaha

And I am probably going to watch until the bitter-shark-jumped-10th-season end. I'm not sure how much I like that.

Because CHANGE IS GOOD and ALL SHOWS CHANGE and THAT'S JUST THE WAY THINGS EVOLVE. *eye roll* That's the buzzword when it comes to defending a revamp of the whole damn show - "the show is evolving". There's evolving and mutating. I don't know what the fuck this mutant show is I've been watching since season four.

Okay, I will definitely be seriously pissed off if this is correct because I'm in it now basically for Sam Winchester. And Sam&Dean, obviously. So... NO. (And, seriously, someone needs to beat the Holy Living Fuck out of dumbass Castiel and then lock him up somewhere where he will never be heard from again. Just saying.)

But honestly, I wouldn't be too worried about this. Because Jared tends to be full of shit when it comes to giving spoilers, I have found out. (It was an interview with Jared that this stuff originated from.) Because I always listen to all of the roundtable interviews of Jared's from Comic Con - with all the spoilery things for the upcoming season. And then I get all excited (or worried) about them. Only to see none of them really come to pass. I don't know if he's told to do that or if he just makes shit up as he goes along or what.

As for me, I really am with the show until the very end. But unlike the first four seasons when I overwhelmingly loved the show just for the show - I'm now basically just all about Jared - I have to admit. I have, unfortunately, found myself so ridiculously, fangirlishly in love with the bastard that I will happily watch anything just to selfishly have him on my screen every week.

I guess that Jensen guy isn't too bad to look at, either. ;)
