The Avengers

This morning on one of those morning news shows (redundant) they were talking about The Avengers and how awesome it was and how awesome it did at the box office and yadda yadda.

"And I'm looking forward to the sequel."
Me: [thinking] YES! There's going to be a sqeuel. Tell me all the details!!!
..."because there was that cliff-hanger."
Me: [thinking] Oh, you're just hopeful like the rest of us.


In the movie Black Widow said something and it reminded me of another thing. It's not particularly spoilery but I shall put it under a cut.

I don't remember her exact wording but when she said she "had a certain skill set." It made me think of Liam Neeson's character in Taken.

His character and Black Widow? They could probably do some pretty wicked damage together.

there is going to be a sequel, though. they have to get through Captain America 2, Thor 2, Iron Man 3, and whatever origin movie they're going to make.

Taken surprised me with how good it was. That's the kinda stuff Neeson needs to stick to - he's like the Harrison Ford of the 20-teens. Hell, why not make another Jack Ryan movie with Neeson in the lead?
