I saw The Cabin In The Woods today. I went to an actual theatre and ... well, I didn't pay for it but still. It's been so long since I've seen in a movie in a theatre I forgot how bloody loud they are. Geesh.

Anyway, I really liked it. I knew a little of what to expect based on the trailers. Yeah ...


Chris Hemsworth is attractive. But. Chris Hemsworth all dirty and bloody? He's fucking attractive.

Based on the trailers I knew that it wasn't a 'typical' horror movie and that it was being set up, but obviously, I didn't know the little details.

Uhm.

"Let's get this party started."

I liked that they 'chose' who/what was going to attack them and thusly (can I use that there?) how they would end up dying.

And that this happens all over the world.

You know, if ya'll could just come inside my head for a bit. The words are much more organized in there.

Marty was awesome. I'm glad that he lived ... until he didn't.

The point is. Movie theatres are fucking loud. But. The movie? The movie was pretty fucking awesome.

Go Team Joss and Drew.

I liked the movie - but it was also totally off the wall. I didn't like the ending too much with the whole ritual thing. I wish that would've been different - but over all if we decent. :)

I LOVED the bit when all the monsters came out of the elevators

It's a really awesome film, my sister didn't like it and said it was rubbish, I just told her she doesn't understand Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard and then immaturely ignored her.

Hahaha. I remember seeing that written on the board but I don't remember seeing it come out of the elevator. Clearly, I'm going to have to see the movie again.

I don't think it ever actually COMES out of the elevator, but on (i think) the first wave of monsters, you see its branches...molesting someone. IDK it was the one on the board that made me laugh the most because it was so random and not really horror movieish. It and KEVIN. Fucking Kevin man.
