I keep forgetting to mention that I watched. And I loved it. And it was all very good. And I am waiting for it's return.

Also! ALSO! I have theories.

Well, a couple.

I mean theories about how ... wait, should I cut for spoilers? I'll cut for spoilers.


So, theories for how he's not dead.

One jetpants and I came up with is that he's got bones made of rubber and blood made from drugs.

Which. Might happen but I think that might be a bit too cracky.

But the other one that I was thinking of after I watched the unaired pilot the other day is ...

BACKSPACE

Yep. That is my theory.

The show starts with John taking out his laptop and it's left on a blank page as we scene switch to him with the therapist.

But!

I don't believe that is was left blank.

I'm choosing to believe that all these adventures are stories that he's writing.

And he sort of wrote himself into a corner and the only logical way out was for Sherlock to jump.

When the show returns it'll be on John's thinky thought face. And he'll be tapping his fingers on his desk.

Then we'll see the computer screen which has The Reinbach Fall on it. John will then delete all the way back to when Moriarty shot himself.

And the game will change.

So, that is my theory and I'm sticking to it. For now.

I'm fairly certain Sally was instrumental in him faking his death. He said he needed her and her expertise is in corpses. With Irene Adler having successfully faked her death, I bet Sherlock figured out how she did it. And people brought up how John was distracted by a biker who happened to come by just as Sherlock did his half-gainer off the rooftop. He never saw who or what fell, just the aftermath of a bloodied face that resembled Sherlock's when he reached the body on the sidewalk.

I think he probably did a clever switch. However, it was never satisfactorily explained how it happened in the book, either. Beyond Sherlock going, "You just thought you saw both of us fall off the cliff, Watson. It was only Moriarty." Then, it also opens up my theory that the Moriarty we saw on the show is not the real Moriarty. it's really good isn't it Smidge? Dad and I both watched the season 1 dvd all at one time. Loved it! Dad was a little irritated with how the season ended but we can't wait for it to start again!

I read an interview with two of the producers last week and they said that mid season things will slowly start to be explained. So I can't wait.
