I'm....frustrated that they either killed or wrote out the majority of the female characters from last season and the first new character is another white guy. :\ But that's more casting probably than writing/storyline, I guess.

But the first new character isn't "another white guy" it's MY BABY'S DADDY :)

I mean, I hear he's a good actor (I've never watched Lost, so I can't judge myself) so I guess that's good. I just think it would have been pretty damn awesome if Steve had been trained by a woman, for instance.

By the promo, there seems to be a new girl joining 5-0 but a) who knows how long she'll last? and b) it sucks that in order for us to get more female characters, Kono's character has to be put through the wringer. I hate that all the men got off scott free and she's the one suffering.

Yeah, okay. That part bothers me. And I've heard rumour that Steve's getting a love interest - and I don't want that. I mean, I know that Steve/Danny isn't going to happen but I like their bromance. And well, I don't enjoy love interests on these sorts of shows.

And seriously. If they booted Kono for new chick? Fuck that.

Well, Steve had a "love interest" last season and she disappeared, so...I guess if your name isn't Kono, you probably shouldn't be relying on the Hawaii 5-0 paycheck for too long.

Some could see this as a spoiler, I guess, but 'the new girl' (Lauren German) is booked as a series regular this season, so I'm guessing she will stick around.
