Supernatural : 6x18 : Frontierland

I liked it, I really liked it.

I knew going in that I was going to enjoy looking at it. But I figured that the actual storyline was probably going to be ridiculous and/or piss me off. But it didn't!

Okay, yes. Going back in time is kind of ridiculous but I'm ignoring that part.

Mostly, I just really enjoyed Sam. And I actually enjoyed Dean. And I loved Sam and Dean. I want them to be like that all the time. Well, like that but actually together. I get that they had to be split up for a bit but I don't have to like that part.

Uhm. Right.

The actual storyline wasn't bad. I'm still not fussy on the whole Mother arc but meh.

At one point it sounded like Bobby called Castiel 'Cassie'.

I hope people start calling him that all the time. (ps. No, I don't)

Right. To sum up. Good jorb, Show. Good jorb.

"Is it customary to wear a blanket?" Hahahah. Somedays, I wish I liked Castiel so I could enjoy a few of his lines more than I do.

Dean being such a complete nerd, dork, but above all, COMPLETE TREKKIE.

LIFE = FULFILLED.

With how much Dean was portrayed at having followed John's orders all the time and how he trained a lot and was/is such a good hunter and how he is(was) kind of a slut he's watched a lot of movies and tv.

Completely. But if you remember that other than hook-ups he basically had no personal life, and considering hunting=work/profession... I think any fanboy/fangirl can attest to fact that it is possible to juggle responsibilities, a sort of life and fandom.
^_^

Yeah, for sure one can juggle it. I just. I sometimes think that Dean would poo-poo television. I don't know why exactly I think that but sometimes I do.

I really enjoyed this episode. Castiel's line about the blanket amused me greatly, hah.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2011-04-23 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
And then I was even more amused when the other guy said, 'Nice blanket.'

You know those moments in life where you're really, really not supposed to laugh, and you're nearly bursting with the need to? I'm going to imagine that saloon girl's yucky teeth and disgusting mouth from now on when that happens, and instead of laughing, I'll want to vomit.

I really liked the episode, too!

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2011-04-23 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
*snorts* But vomiting could be worse than laughing.

Whenever I laugh when I shouldn't I either a) look at the person like, 'Yeah, so?' or b) say, 'I'm inappropriate' or c) say, 'Uh, I have tourettes?'

I have to watch it again. It was one of those episodes where I spent the entire time either laughing too much to hear what was going on, or leering too hard to concentrate. Jared in a hat on a horse, I can't even.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2011-04-23 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I just wish there had been more Sam on a horse. And Dean on a horse as well. And them riding off into the sunset.

Seriously when Jared/Sam got on the horse... I may have gasped a little. :X

If only Dean had hopped on behind him ...

Somedays, I wish I liked Castiel so I could enjoy a few of his lines more than I do. ~ My thoughts exactly! I wish I didn't want Castiel dead and gone because then I could enjoy him a bit without feeling guilty/annoyed.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2011-04-25 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
without feeling guilty/annoyed.

THIS. I just. He's so annoying AND even worse than that all he's done is drive Sam and Dean apart and he's mostly useless he points out the obvious a lot.

Castiel: Dean. The sky is blue.
Dean: I know that.
Castiel: (gruffs up his voice) But do you know what shade it is?
Dean: (gruffs up his voice even more) The hell should I know? Light?
Castiel: (even more gruffier) No, Dean. That's a ridiculous answer. It's sky blue.
Dean: (hoarse whisper) You're hilarious.
Castiel: (near growl) I fail to see how that's relevant.
Dean: [unintelligible gruff growling]
Castiel: [unintelligible gruff growling]

That's what it sounds like to me when Castiel and Dean talk.

Hee! I adore you for this comment! ♥♥

AND even worse than that all he's done is drive Sam and Dean apart ~ Yes, exactly! I feel like he's trying to take over Sam's spot in Dean's life or something and that's just... NO.
