Ugh, those things are so irritating. My friend's email account has been like, seriously infected by them. We get like, three emails a day of those spam things :(

I just increase my security settings/filters to the highest degree, and most of it goes to spam (if people are sending it to me) and I think it may also help with the sending of the spam?

Gmail itself is pretty good for blocking spam etc - I just had a quick look but couldn't find anything - but maybe try searching/looking at their help/FAQ section?

I know that when my hotmail account started doing this crap, I had to edit the settings.
