Spoilers for the episode and a mention or two of the preview for next week's ep

I really liked this episode. Quite a bit actually. I think the thing I liked the most was that I didn't hate it nor did I want to punch anyone in the face.

There was nothing that I particularly LOVED about the episode though I did really enjoy Sam sitting on the couch with his legs all sprawled.

The preview for next week seems like it has nothing to do with how this episode ended. Sam just had a little seizure, remembered burning ... and then he's fine? :shrugs:

Part of me is hoping next week's ep starts with Sam sitting up, smiling like an idiot and saying 'Psych!' Then I'm sure Dean will punch him. Sam will tell him to lighten up. Dean will again tell him how BAD IT COULD BE. Sam will tell Dean that he's stronger than he looks. There'll be more talk. A little touching. And as often happens one thing will lead to Sam and Dean having hot hot sex on Dean's messy couch bed.

And speaking of. Where were they staying? And why so messy? I mean, they're not that messy when they stay in the motels are they?

Non spoiler: Sam Winchester is my favourite Winchester. I love him SO BIG.

That makes sense, I should have perhaps guessed that. Any theories on why they were squatting?

Dean was probably suspicious about why they were there in the first place and didn't want to risk a credit card on a room when they might have to get up and leave quickly. Or maybe he thought making Sam uncomfortable without running water would make him want to leave sooner.

Haha, my first thought that Sam was gonna sit back up and be all QUIT FUCKING WORRYING YOURSELF TO DEATH DEAN. Alas, then there was hell.

I figured Dean wanted them to lay as low as possible, so they didn't check in anywhere and just squatted somewhere instead.

Yeah, the whole hell burning thing is kind of throwing my story off, which is so annoying! But I'm pretending that it's Sam's over active imagination. Like it was all fake but Sam was actively picturing what he was going to tell Dean. It uh, makes sense in my head.

I'm quite confused by the preview and how Sam is all fine and jim dandy.

I don't like spiders but I'm not afraid of them though I think I'd find it quite alarming if a humanspider dropped down on me from a tree. That I'd probably hate a lot.

Oh! I loved the flashbacks as well and while I did like the black and white I think I might have enjoyed some of it in colour as well.

I agree.. the B&W was cool.. but Color is always better, I guess thats the only way to for them to show us "this is in the past" *shrugs*

Y'know what would be a real twist (although I like the sexy tiemz version you wrote)? If Sam had just had an actual medical seizure. So, Dean's harping on about Hell and stuff and it turns out Sam's just having seizures, not remembering Hell, and so he gets to be all "told ya so."

It's funny you should mention this because I haven't really watched anything at all from this season, but every once in awhile I turn on an episode out of curiousity. I did that today toward the end of the episode only to see Sam have what looked like a seizure. I was thinking to myself, "...Sam's having seizures now? What?" and then, "Oh" once the whole burning thing appeared.

That's how I feel about it. I enjoyed the ending a whole lot and that sexytiems scene but that's about it. It kind of bored me. :/

I'm thinking now that I might like the boring eps a bit more. Because then, no one pisses me off and the acting isn't shit in them. I feel that when either boy has to be DRAMATIC they're almost always TOO dramatic and it's laughable.

I think they were pretty stupid to show Sam all fine in the promo. They could easily have edited him out and built suspense so that the viewers would be compelled to see what's going the fuck on. Imagine if they'd done that for the second part of AHBL.

They recently had an episode where he was having problems with light; kind of like the symptoms of a migraine, you know? The entire episode was him reacting VERY HEAVILY to what was going on with the crime they were solving. And he went to the doctor to try and figure out what was wrong, but he told Reid that he's completely healthy and that maybe this is all psychological and/or emotional; so many things have happened to him, IE: drug addiction, taken hostage, Gideon leaving. The doctor made it seem as though everything he's been repressing and NOT dealing with is finally catching up with him. He also mentioned Reid's Mom, because she's a schizophrenic, and that could be something, too.

....AND THEN SUDDENLY REID IS OKAY AND THAT PLOTLINE IS ENTIRELY DROPPED. Granted it's been at least 2-3 episodes since then, but come ON. I HAD HIGH HOPES!! Don't do that, and actually HAVE Reid freaking out that something mental may in fact be wrong with someone like him who is a genius and nothing could ever be wrong wit him, and then just drop it entirely.

Argh.
