I'm going to be selfish and say, 'Yes' because your reviews were my favourite. Are my favourite. But realistically? I'm almost sure you'd want to kill people. Or maybe it's just me and I'm projecting.
I doubt you're projecting. Honestly, I'd forgotten it was back on tonight. And I was even posting about them hiding from Fringe. (I doubt SPN digs that deeply into Fringe's numbers, so ... I'm not even concerned about them as a rival.) Overall, I realized how much I DON'T care about anything on the show, esp. the characters, anymore. I'd been looking forward to the anime MADHOUSE is producing for a while, but now? I don't even have any inclination to bother with it, either. I've outgrown it, I think is the best way to phrase it. My sanity needed for it to happen.
I can't remember what his character was, it's been ages since I saw the last season of BTVS, but I'd love for Nathan Fillon to show up in a priest's outfit and stab a few eyes out. And I have an issue with eye mutilation, if that gives you any sense of how much I would love for it to happen and to SEE it happen.
I really don't understand what was wrong with the original format. Did someone give them a bunch of cheesy fantasy fiction paperbacks? Is that what happened?
I mentioned before that CSI (the original) has been doing the same thing for 11 God damn years and it's still a good show ... it makes NO sense that Supernatural had to go and change. I feel that in the first season and perhaps a little of the second season Supernatural was very similar to CSI, only it was with literal monsters/demons. :shrugs: I think that if they (Supernatural) had just kept on keeping on, the show would still be pretty fantastic and not ... whatever the fuck it is now. :stops ramble:
Maybe that is what happened OR the writers are actual fanfic writers.
Excellent point. X-Files managed to do Monster-of-the-Week shit for years and remained interesting. And there are SO MANY stories and pieces of folklore and such they could have milked for episodes. I mean, they had this big, whomping pile of creative/creepy potential and they threw it out the window in favor of the same old boring Judeo-Christian crap that's already been done to death. I mean, we finally get past the hell/heaven crap and we get saddled with purgatory. YAWN.
At this point, since all of the good writers left for other stuff like True Blood and Mad Men, the writers probably ARE all ficcers. And bad ones at that.
Maybe we should send them some sort of letter. Like, 'Hey look at these shows. Look at their formats. And then notice how well they did / are doing. Now look at your show.'
I am sad to say that in my less sober moments I have contemplated it. Because I've been unemployed so long now that I take these things way too seriously.
I watch reruns on TNT sometimes. Today there was an old dude who had figured out the secret to eternal life and was basically replacing his parts w/ other people's parts... I guess? And Sam seemed to think this was an acceptable life choice for Dean for some reason? But, dude was fugly. :(
It was one I had never seen, but I guess it was pre-dean goes to hell because Sam wanted him to make with the organ stealing/eternal life thingy bc he was going to die~~~ Apparently no one remembered to tell Sam that he and Dean are the only permanent characters on that show and thus Dean was destined to return somehow.
Also, one of my friends calls Jensen "Duck" and now I can't unsee it. :p
Hahahaha. Pretty much. I mean, sometimes they try and be all dramatic and moving but Show doesn't really go on without the both of them so why cry over spilled milk.
Show, hurry up and get to a series finale, please, because I hate you and yet I can't stop watching because I need to know how you're going to justify all the what-the-fuckery that has gone down in the past four years.
I think it'd be easier on me if I hated the show but I don't think I do. Sure it makes me angry but I think that's because I care and want it to be good like it was or like it could be. I'm just tired of some many things. Yanno? And yeah, I want to see how it's all going to end.
Yes, yes I know. Believe me I do. And actually, after this episode and Sam doesn't feel like I want to slap him in the face while kicking him in the balls and screaming at him for being a douche...maybe I don't hate it anymore, but I'm still not a fan anymore. That makes me sad :(

This almost makes me want to watch again. Almost.
But since I know I'll want to stab the characters with sporks after I've watched, I won't. Still, AMUSING!

That episode sounds kind of familiar. Maybe? I tend to forget them not long after they've aired.
