- From what I've read I was among the few who found Castiel watching porn amusing. But what I really enjoyed was Dean saying "You don't watch porn in a room full of dudes." When not that long ago Dean and Sam were watching The Trickster's porn together. So, I guess it's all right for just Dean and Sam to watch together but no third parties.

- I didn't understand Sam and Castiel's fight. If I remember correctly, Sam said something about Castiel owing him. For what? I was hoping that Sam was going to say, 'I'll tell Dean that you're the one that let me out to kill Lilith." because apparently I'm still delusional and naive enough to think that they're going to learn the truth on the show.

- I got a bit weepy when Crowley died.

- Like a few others I also thought that Sam was drinking his own blood to go all RAWR so he could go save Dean. I guess what he did do was good but uh, how much blood was used? Seemed like quite a bit and yeah ... you'd think with that kind of blood loss he'd be at least a bit woozy.

- Even though I don't care for Castiel or Meg, I kind of enjoyed their making out tiems.

- Angel: Yeah, and you look like hell. Not the fun one, where they burn you with hot pokers for all eternity, but the hardcore one, you know, Nixon and Britney Spears?

I was going to say something similar. I don't have kids but if I did - they would be chosen before my husband/partner without blinking. I am sure he would do the same.

I totally third that! And it's not because he doesn't love the wife, but because he does love her and knows that she ~wants~ him to choose the kids.

What I don't get is choosing Mary over Sam and Dean. I mean, given how insistent Grampa was about loving his daughter, doesn't it seem a given that Mary would feel the same about Sam and Dean? And doesn't it follow that she might be, oh I don't know, PISSED OFF that her father fucked over her sons?

IDK, I think its a weak reason for Grampa to be working with Crowley because its so easily pulled down like a house of cards. blah.

I enjoyed Sam and Castiel's fight. It made me remember that Castiel can be a bad ass, which I haven't believed since the first couple of episodes of the fourth season. And Crowley shall be missed, though in the last couple of episodes he had gotten a bit repetitive and that terrible pun he used at the beginning sort of told me that his time was up. :/

Well, MOST parents, I assume. It's TV land, where parents love their kids, LOL. If we were talking the real world - I know certain parents who would choose their spouses over their kids. But in SPN land...well. Actually, IDK that John would choose the kids over Mary, would he? Did we ever have an instance where he had to make that choice (other than the obvious, where he sacrificed a normal existence for his kids in order to avenge his wife)?

Yeah, that would be really nice, at some point, for Dean to mention that no matter what shitstorm they have to wade through, Sam is and always will be his number one priority.

I want to get at least ONE episode where they do some flashing back to Sam's year alone. Maybe somewhere in that year Castiel DID approach Sam (and didn't mention it to Dean...maybe) and they had some epic fight that will explain the odd tension. Holy crap, what I wouldn't give for flashbacks to Sam being deliciously badass and smirky and bloody and Mystery-Spot-ish.

Ok. Remember the ropes? I forget which episode, cuz after season 3 I forgot to remember the names of episodes, lol. Sam was tied down after Castiel felt up his insides, and he just...got free? Was that a "powers" thing, or is he just a super-boy scout now and knows how to loosen knots? I'm HOPING it was a powers thing and that he's still doing the blood thing and...IDK. They'll show it. One day.

I couldn't stop laughing. I like them bringing Castiel back to what I think they planned for him to be (way back when he was only supposed to be around for a few episodes): comic relief and deus ex machina.

I can only speak for me, but I would choose to save my kids over Mr.Ghoul, and he would do likewise. If he decided to save me over them, I would never, ever forgive him. Part of it is that they are kids and he's grown, and I would expect that he has a better chance of saving himself than either of the chicklets would.

It's also... it's really primal. I can describe it, but it's not the same as feeling it. Before I had kids, I remember wondering if I'd ever be able to do the things a person might have to do to, say, get away from an attacker - the things they teach you in self-defense classes, like shoving your thumb through their eye, etc. I didn't think I had it in me.

I remember holding newborn GhoulChicklet in the hospital, and the realization that not only *could* I maim or kill with my bare hands anyone who would threaten her, but I could do so with a song in my heart and never lose a minute of sleep over it. I knew in my marrow that I would put myself bodily between my baby and harm. I love Mr.Ghoul,and I would give my life for his, but it's nothing like this instinctual mama bear thing that got switched on once I became a mom.

Crowley is pretty much all I've liked for a long time.

although, i did enjoy Castiel watching porn and kissing Meg.
and then he burnt Crowley and I'm back to really not liking the character. at all.

Yeah, me too. I mean, I still like Sam ... mostly because of his face and hipbone area but yeah. I liked Crowley for being Crowley.
