I think they sat around and thought 'what would be the best way to piss off all the account holders?' and TA DA, otherwise, I have no freaking clue.

ETA: It makes me wonder if anons posting in "your" LJ (if "you" allow it), can do this as well because there are some very hateful people that could be doing this.

Though, I'm thinking that anons can't really do it because they can't be all anon over at twitter or fb and I'm guessing there'd be some sort of way to see that they'd linked their comment elsewhere.

I would hope that every time someone 'reposts' their comment there is a link so I know where all my buisness is going but with the way Livejournal handled this, I'm not too sure.
