Lost: LA X
Spoilers for Lost with mentions of Supernatural
What? Wait, what? No, seriously. What?
For a moment there I thought that my baby's daddy (aka Locke) had always somehow been a Smoke Monster American but then I realized what had happened and yeah. I mean, I still don't get it but yeah.
No, seriously, if someone wants to explain the whole ep to me and explain it like I'm a five year old and maybe use hand puppets that'd be great.
I enjoy this show so so much but I don't understand it at all. Like, any of it. Whenever I try and actually PAY ATTENTION, I just get a headache and sometimes start drooling. (okay, maybe not that last part)
So uh, I always thought that Jacob was evil, that he was Lucifer or well the Lost version/brand of Lucifer or at the very least Lucifer like. But
memphis86 mentioned that she thought he was a good guy.
Is Jacob good or evil in your world? Or neither?
Also? Mark Pellegrino's acting on Supernatural is quite decent but his first 10-30secs on Lost? Hahaha. SO MUCH BETTER. Hmm. Interesting.
John Locke's been my baby's daddy for a long while now but now that he's the host of a Smoke Monster American and is all evil? Nnnnngh. He's even hotter now. God. Damn.
eta: I forgot that I kind of enjoyed this one part
Juliet: I have to tell you something. Before I go, let me tell you this one thing. I really really need to tell you this ONE THING. It's kind of important, please to be paying attention'
Sawyer: I'm listening, please to be telling me this verrah important thing. What is it darling, Juliet, please tell me?
Juliet: [up and dies]
Me: [snorts and giggles]
Uhm, you know cos she could've just spit it out instead of letting him be all, 'Oh, darling.'
On the yahoo.com homepage thingy there's a blurb that says, "Odd reaction to 'Lost' episode" my first thought upon reading that was, 'What? Did they actually understand the ep?'

Locke looked like the devil/Lucifer/really fuckin evil at the end there.
I'd like that 5 year olds explanation too please.
And maybe next week we can NOT SEE JULIET DIE AGAIN!

Um - Locke was possessed by the dude that was on the beach with Jacob. (I've been under the impression that it's a whole Jesus/Devil/Buddha type thing going on, lol.) So...in my head, the devil is now Locke (but not really Locke, just a mirage or glamour) and he is going to go back home...to heaven? And Jacob was...god? Jesus? Buddha? Confucius? I dunno. And he's martyred himself or some shit, and then Sayid rose from the dead. So...he's Jesus? Fuck if I know.
Something...like that. Yeah.

So evil and so hot.

And okay, that all makes sense. I guess. I don't know. But I like it.

I call him Lucifer when he's playing Jacob and Jacob when he's playing Lucifer. It helps add to the general confusion around me. Jacob is good in my book. He kinda always was, like, I figured he was the force that held the island together, but now with smokey!Locke and the circles of
saltash to keep him out of the temple, I'd say Jacob was the good half of the duo.Sawyer called her JULIE before she died according to my captions. JULIE TELL ME. I was all, man, that's silly.

I ♥ you.

Good God versus Evil God. Jacob apparently the good god. Smoke monster, baddd.
Bomb thing worked. They initially never crashed on the island (as you saw in all those scenes inbetween). So, I think that throughout the whole season, we'll see both everyone on the island, and those scenes inbetween. And those scenes inbetween will eventually lead to everyone being on a plane again, and crashing again, and finding themselves on the island anyway. Again.
Hence Juliet saying "it worked". Cause it did. They simply don't realize that it took them a little longer to crash on the island for the first time anyway.

1. The bomb worked.
2. The bomb did not work.
3. There are parallel universes.
Now. Take 1 and 2 and run them side by side and you get 3. So in-line with what
This sort of serves to explain Juliet's final comment from the dead of "it worked." Perhaps in her death-state she could bridge that gap between universes and see the other possibility--and maybe her comment of "let's get coffee, we'll go dutch" is something we'll see her say in that alternate reality when she meets James.
Because really, what's partly intriguing is not only what happens on the island and what it all means, but that "what-if" factor of how their lives would have entwined or gone seperately if they had never crashed. And really, you need a lot more than one episode in order to do that second one.

Until very recently (aka last night) I thought the Smoke Monster American was like Jacob's pet. But if they are separate from each other I kind of figured that they're both evil or evilish. And one just decides which one they want to hang out with or something. I don't really know what I think when it comes to this show, I just let other people's thoughts and opinions sway me.
JULIE TELL ME.
Hahahhahaha. *ahem*
