I cannot find chocolate covered pretzels ANYFUCKINWHERE! I thought it was just me and my eyes playing tricks on me. But the past few times I've gone, I've noticed a serious lack in the chocolate covered pretzels department.
I need more details of this fast. ~ The fast is through the church my mom goes to a couple of times a month. I can't see how anyone does the official version. You have to give up fried foods, red meat, sweets, pop/soda, honey, sweetened cereals, popcorn, bread, juice, nuts, pasta, etc, etc.
You do it in chunks, so by the last four or five days you can have nothing but vegetables, beans, herbs and water.
That's why my mom just picks a couple of things to give up for the three weeks. Because she figures it should still count. : )
This is her fourth time doing it. So this time around I figured I'd do it, too. One, for moral support. And two, because she tends to lose 2 pounds a week while on the fast. Okay, I admit it, the 6 pounds was my major motivation! ; )
But I'm already regretting it. And it's pissing me off because now I'm thinking that if I can't even make it a week, how am I going to do it long enough to get myself in shape and lose the weight I want to lose?
