I don't even know if I get spam in Gmail; I hardly ever see it in my inbox, and I don't check the spam folder... well, ever. So for me, as long as it's not in my inbox, that's what matters. My university email is horrible. It's like they have no filters at all.

Can you ask them about the spam filters?

I get more spam in my inbox with gmail than I do yahoo but for the spam filter, I get A LOT more with gmail, crazy amounts.
