about polls and icons

Here's the part where I just might be a bitch.

When I post a poll (let's go with the Jared Nose Fanclub Appreciation one as an example) and people on my flist vote in the negative ("no I wouldn't be a member") I'm fine with that even if the answer is clearly, "Yes, where the heck do I sign up?" :p But when someone I don't know from Adam comes waltzing in and votes in the negative I get a tad bit pissy. Who the heck are you to come in here with your noes and nays?

I'm thankful/grateful/appreciateful (because that's a word) that anyone has friended my icon journal but I do find it odd when people who've never said boo about the icons friend it. Mayhaps, I'm just paranoid

Well at least your members give you feedback. Other then my flist I only have one member that ever comments on my icons. But I do x-post them like crazy so I do get feedback from others. It's just weird that people join but never comment. Oh well.

On the polls, do you mean, like, somebody who you don't have friended or somebody who doesn't have you friended? If it's the latter: STALKERS! :P (says she who occasionally checks out friendsfriends and friends' friends lists when she's bored - but never votes in polls while she's doing so. *nods*)

I suppose it's nice that they friend? Hmmm.

Yeah, I mean the stalkers. I sometimes vote in a poll that's not on my flist if I've been linked there but that's not too often.

Yeah, it's nice that they friend but if they're not going to use the icons ... why friend? Yanno?
