I have watched the first episode and I like it! But it's so strange. Felix has a British accent, despite being from... Brampton. And the girl sounds like a Canadian trying to do a British accent. Someone else is also British. But then some other characters are Canadian. And I think it's supposed to be set in Canada because there's mentions of Montreal and Cleveland.

I think they are British folks living in Canada.

But like, at least half the cast seems to be British. And I guess the actress feels like she has to have a British accent because Felix does and they're supposed to be foster siblings? These things don't bother me, I'm just fascinated and amused.

In a show synopsis somewhere they described her as a "street hustler", which I took to mean prostitute, but I don't remember any mention of that in the show. Was there?

I think it's just those two and the lady who has her daughter.

I got the impression that she's kind of like Kenzi from Lost Girl. And I don't think there's been any mention of her being a prostitute.
