tags on tumblr or hey, here's a pet peeve

some people on tumblr tag with all caps.
some people on tumblr tag with all lower case.
and some people on tumblr tag proper nouns with the first letter capitalized.

that is all very fine. and good.

but when. when people tag like this *gestures at examples*

#Jared padalecki #GENEVIEVE CORTESE #jensen

I want to cry and hit them. Just. No. Pick something and stick with it.

Well, for example: I have one that looks like Henry Burton, then one that looks like Teddy altman, then one that looks like mark sloan. What it does is offer you choices to pick from and people usually only hit the down arrow.

ha. Well, like, when I use my phone it might capitalize the proper noun or it might just capitalize the first letter. So when I get on the computer I will literally have the options "Harvey Specter, Harvey specter, harvey specter".

Mine do that sometimes. Just because I may have tagged something Character A before and might be just lazy this time and select Character A from my tag memory bank but only feel up to writing character b. Mostly it's just laziness or however you typed it first and tumblr saves it rather than having to retype the whole thing, which circles back around to laziness.

Ah, yeah. Tumblr doesn't save mine, which is odd, I know. I mean it saves like one or two that I used once like a year ago but tags that I use on a daily basis? Nope. It'll eventually remember the tags for that day but the next day? Back to the beginning. So, I can't be lazy.
