I love everything about this show.

They say this is filmed in Vancouver. And if that is true. That is great.

Warren Christie guest starred and his character on Alphas is so much more attractive. This guy was a douche. :/

I don't quite get how Henry's teacher is technically Emma's mom. Or why the Evil Queen is in the real world.

But. Other than those two bits.

This show is so shiny and perfect.

The music, the images, the pacing and the camera work.

The cast. The characters.

Sword fighting while holding a baby.

It's all so wonderful.


My tv also loves Once Upon A Time because it's on at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.

The promo for next week's looks like it'll be good.

I'm guessing the people in Storybrooke never age, since time stands still? I mean Henry was born and aged because Emma escaped the curse, but everyone else stays the same. Or something.

Not sure why the Evil Queen is in the real world, unless she just wanted to be in power over those specific people so she made herself the mayor of the town where she trapped everyone. That's my best guess, lol.

I can't wait for next week's episode!

That's exactly why she's there. The real world - like they stated over and over - is a horrible, terrible place, so naturally an evil queen would easily rule in it. Even if it is just a mayor of a podunk town full of Shrek characters.

Henry's mom is Emma, Emma was found on the roadside, but is really Snow White's daughter, and Snow White (although she doesn't know it) is the teacher.

So Henry's teacher is his grandmother.

This and Grimm are looking rather good. Mmmmmm, urban fantasy.

And YES! Alphas! Damn I knew him from somewhere and it's just been eating at me.

I don't get how Henry knows the book is real.

But he knows that Emma is his mom. And that Emma is Snow White's daughter. And he knows that whatsisface is Jiminy Cricket. So...

Also. Is Alphas done for the season? Do you know if it's coming back? I need it in my life.

Alphas ended the season with *spoiler* Dr. Rosen going public and his daughter being shacked up with that Parrish guy *end spoiler*

Whether or not it's coming back is still up in the air but I dont think it looks good.

Henry knows Emma is his mom because his conception/birth/adoption all happened in this world. I'm guessing he knows his shrink is Jimminy Cricket based on personality traits. His teacher seems to be fairly close to him, so I'm guessing he doesn't have the distance and perspective to realize who she is (and half of all fairy tale princesses have identical personalities).

How he knows the book is real is still beyond me. Maybe he's just an overly imaginative kid and the whole show is a mindscrew.

Okay, that is the last episode of Alphas that I saw. I hope it comes back, I'll be sad in the face, heart and pants if it doesn't.
