Tv Show: Pan Am
I'm enjoying this show a lot more than I thought I would. A couple spoilers for tonight's episode "We'll Always Have Paris"
Because of something that was said in the first episode, I believe it was something like, "She's definitely not looking for a boyfriend." I totally thought that Laura and Kate were girlfriends. And then obviously found out that they were sisters and thought to myself, 'It's Hellcats, all over!'
However. This episode just made me ship them more.
I can't believe their mom showed up with the ex fiance. That was just creepy. But then she went to her sister so it was okay. Because they luuuuuuuurve each other.
Okay, 'cept for a few things here and there. I missed a lot the first episode so, I had no idea what was going with Bridget. Her whole being comprised and having to change her name and move to a new place. Eeeek. This show was sort of making me want to live out my life long dream of being a spy (ps. that's a lie) but if someone spies you being a spy ... the whole witness relocation thing? I don't know that I could that. And I almost certain I'd be compromised.
"She may like her boyfriends but she loves her husband." Hussy! Unless that was part of the spy act? I'm not sure.
Dean and Colette should be a couple.
I love Maggie's snark and feminism.
"I assume that if there's an ideal weight for serving drinks then surely there's an ideal weight for looking down one's nose."
"I know what my job is. For the price of their ticket business men get to flirt with pretty women. And I can handle flirts, I can handle the personal grooming checks, the weigh-ins. The boozy jerk that crosses the line. But what I can't handle is that you made it okay for him to try that again with another girl."

I'm pretty sure the whole Bridget's husband thing is part of the spy act so that Dean will stop looking for her, unfortunately. Poor Bridget.
Maggie. <3 She is wonderful.

Maggie FTW.

And yes, the "she's not looking for a husband, TRUST ME" comment was so full of subtext.
Oh sisters. Being slashy.
