Mythbusters: Bear Grylls vs Sharks

Whenever I watch those sorts of shows where the main real life person is in great peril (and this only applies to the occasional episode of Mythbusters) I almost always think, 'Okay, yeah. But what about the fucking camera people?! Aren't they in the same position as you? Are they not wandering around in the same weather condition as you? And they have to film this shit? Man, I hope they're getting paid well.'

SHARK WEEK.\o/

Ahem, I mean those camera men probably just think 'the heck with people going in there near danger this is why god invented the zoom function' and stand out of the way when melee happens. In all seriousness I think they're compensated well, seriously the local news just did a story on two hosts going out to 'brave the elements' and off camera? those people had food, beds and toilets. LIARS.

But even if they are way back from any immediate potential danger ... I get that but if there's extreme weather they're in that as well, and just. I dunno, seems unfair. Though, I do hope that they have better sleeping arrangements.

That's what they sign up for but at the same time yeah they need to have like some idea of what they get into ESP if they go unaware
