Well, I was going to post about how I enjoyed this episode and I had no complaints - though I'm sure there were little things that bothered me. But then. Then they killed Rufus and well. Fuck. You.

Dammit. I really enjoyed Rufus. A lot. Stupid show!

Anyway.

The demon kind of reminded me of Eyghon, like he (it) was Eyghon's less popular cousin.

And the way Jim was portraying Bobby being possessed by it reminded me of how Robia was playing Jenny when she was possesed by Eyghon. Only, uhm. Not quite as good.

I laughed quite hard when Grandpappy asked Sam if "he wanted to hold it" because a) it meant that Winchester incest was still alive and well and then b) both Sam and Dean got up - so I guess this meant that Grandpappy was really well endowed.

I really liked the way Rufus said, 'Bobby'. Then I was thinking that it kind of was similar to how Bill says 'Sookie'. Maybe it actually isn't but it's been awhile since I've watched True Blood.

Anyway. Try this for fun. Quietly but out loud say 'Bobby' (like Rufus) and 'Sookie' (like Bill). If there are people around ignore them or get them to join in.

Killing Rufus was just not cool. I miss him and his funny way of saying Bobby (Bobbeh). Other than that, it really was an entertaining episode.

Dammit! Now I have to pull out my season 2 Buffy dvd's to rewatch the Eyghon ep. I get the impression you did not like Jim's performance? But, IIRC I was not impressed with Robia in the Eyghon ep. Maybe because they so obviously used a man as her body double that it kept throwing me out of the ep. Now I must watch and compare.

So...thanks! I haven't watch Buffy in ages! :)

P.S. I really liked tonights ep. I'm super bummed about Rufus but I still liked the ep.

Not any of the stunts, but the head movements and such. Yes. And no, I wasn't that impressed with Jim's possessed performance.

What struck me odd - no one else acted weird when the worm thing possessed them. Maybe it was just waiting to 'talk' or something? I didn't understand the need for the buggy eyes of possession and the head tilting/sliding. Hmmm.

I liked the episode, was morbidly fascinated with the way in which possessed Dean killed Gwen. I like to see hints of evil Dean from show. When Dean was going after Samuel, and the yelling ensued and Rufus muttered "Someone needs a hug." That, I cracked up. Poor Rufus. Damn.

You're right. Hmm, perhaps it was just waiting to talk. Or it hadn't yet been upgraded enough to talk? I don't know how well Eve is at designing demons.
