I just want the goddamn amulet back in SOME form. I call bullshit on it being gone forever and I am still convinced (until proven otherwise) that Sam would've fished it out of that damn trashcan.

But, yes, your version works. This version felt a little like a rip of the coda to the Constantine movie.

Yeah, I saw you mention it over yonder at your journal and last night while watching the show I thought of Angel all naked. I had been thinking that the amulet would just be near Sam or something but then realized that wouldn't work so he'd have to be clutching it.

I agree with most fans--Sam woulda fished that necklace out the moment Dean's back was turned. So... it would stand to reason that it would be with him. Hell, Dean was what gave him back control over Lucifer; why not give him a way out?
